Bergstrom Consulting Services was created to help small- and medium-sized credit unions compete more effectively. Recent trends suggest many smaller credit unions feel the only way forward is to merge with larger credit unions. They feel disadvantaged by lack of funds to compete and find difficulty in accessing the talent necessary to attract and retain members and/or increase product and service adoption. We believe the success and survival of smaller credit unions is critical to the future of the credit union movement. Led by Alan Bergstrom, a marketing expert with over 40 years of experience, we are determined to help credit unions succeed with marketing strategies and programs that drive meaningful and measurable results.
Alan has been a full-time CMO for several billion dollar plus credit unions, as well as a fractional CMO for smaller credit unions that lacked the resources to hire a full-time CMO. He has been recognized for his skills within the industry, including Credit Union Marketing Executive of the Year and Credit Union Rockstar. His creative campaigns have received multiple industry awards for the results they have delivered. He is passionate about helping credit unions survive and thrive, especially those who are budget-constrained and who seek to level the playing field and compete with larger credit unions more effectively.
